Today my mum and me went to my cousin Maddi's 2nd birthday party in Burnham. I got meet my other cousin Charlotte for the first time! We had an awesome time and we opened presents and ate some delicious food! Maddison's cake was awesome, it was a Sophia the first castle cake! After most people left I started chasing Maddi and playing with her. Her mum, Jamie bought some helium balloons. Everyone started playing with the balloons and got squeaky, high voices. Then Maddi wanted the balloons and I lifted her up and she grabbed the balloons. Charlotte had gone to sleep, but had woken up... Here are some photos down below!
Tonight my cousin Jamie text us and asked us if we were still here on the 13th because at the Burnham play center they are running a birthday party for my cousin Maddison. She will be 2. I hope we can go! I want to play and help out with heaps of little 2 year old's!!!!!!! I haven't seen Maddi in ages!!!!
Did you know you can earn 24 credits just by doing your homework! Homework helps with your learning, you can get rewards/credits and it's fun! I strongly believe that homework is a pleasure.
First of all, one of the best things about homework is getting a reward/credit because you can get something cool or earn 24 credits altogether! Just by handing your homework in means you can get 24 credits or get an awsome reward! I you should hand your homework in.
Next homework helps with your learning. It helps with your grades and improves your learning. Your writing improves, maths improves and your reading improves. Also it helps you manage your time. Homework is helpful.
Finally homework ( can ) be fun. It's enjoyable. I think homework is fun because you have a reading log and a fitness log. Also you learn and get more skills and more confident with ICT equipment and online/computer activities. Homework is fun!!
So, to wrap it all up I think homework is a pleasure because it helps with your learning, you earn LOTS of credits and it's fun! Homework is a wonderful choice for you.
Today the year 6's visited the Ashburton Intermediate ( A.I.S. ) first we arrived and went to the library. Then we got put into groups and got taken around by a year 8. The tour took awhile but it was cool to have a look at the classrooms and playground. Our tour guide person's name was Sam. He took around everywhere to have a look. We eventually got back in time to the library and listened to Mrs Gemmet the deputy principal. After that we got back on the bus and went back to school. It was good to see some ex Tinwald students and have a look around again. I enjoyed it.
Do you think sports is better than music? I do! I reckon sports is better than music because it keeps you fit and healthy, helps you make new friends and you learn new sports.
First of all sports keeps you fit and healthy. You keep fit by joining in more exercise routines, like running, passing, shooting etc. By staying healthy you eat good food before the game. Sports is good for your body. Don't you think so, because I think sports keeps you fit and healthy.
Secondly, sports helps you make more friends. You make new friends by trying new sports and contributing with other players. If you share the ball with the other players they will share with you. ( Play as a team. ) Try a new sport and you will make new friends!
Finally, you can learn new sports. You can learn new sports by giving them a go. You might not always be good but practice makes perfect ( usually. ) If you want to play a sport like basketball, cricket, rugby etc, I recommend you give them a go! Don't be afraid, give it your best!! But be aware you can get injured.
So, to wrap it all up, sports keeps you fit and healthy, you learn new sports and you make new friends. Remember what I told you, give sports a go and try your best! because practice makes perfect ( usually. )
